“I was a researcher at the University of Tampere from 2004 until 2007, and I defended my doctoral dissertation there in late 2014. Since I began working for Fingrid in 2007, I’ve been involved in collaboration projects with the university and I’ve also provided researchers with guidance. As a docent, I intend to initially focus on supervising thesis work related to decentralised resources and developing teaching,” says Rauhala.
He has extensive knowledge and experience of performing various reviews and analyses associated with electricity transmission grids as well as expertise in utilising different technologies to improve and measure technical transmission grid operations.
