Fingrid was ranked among the best companies by summer workers thanks to a sense of fairness and impartiality, aspects in which Fingrid was the best large company. Other positive factors included the orientation and supervision of summer employees, as well as general satisfaction.
Last year, Fingrid employed approximately 40 summer workers. This year, 243 organisations were involved in the competition, and more than 11,000 summer workers gave their opinions. The other award-winners in the Large Companies category were WSP Finland and Varma. Fingrid has ranked in the top ten in the competition for several years now.
