In order to ensure that the projects can be connected to the grid, Fingrid is building the Pysäysperä substation. Go-Live is planned for summer 2022.
The substation will also connect the Forest Line, a transmission line due for completion in 2022, to the distribution network and main grid transmission lines in the area.
Wind power is also planned in the area between Kristiinankaupunki, Vaasa and Seinäjoki. In order to connect wind turbines to the grid, Fingrid is building the Kärppiö substation. The project will be completed in the end of the summer of 2022.
